Tis the time of year when all of the NEBG gather together with family and friends to count the many blessings we have received throughout the past year. It is also the time that we think about those less fortunate than ourselves. Again this year, the NEBG is sponsoring a Santa Toy Flight in support of The Ninety-Nines.
"How can I help?"
There are 3 ways that members of the NEBG family have supported this annual event:
1. Make a monitary donation by clicking the PayPal link below (all monies collected will be used to purchase toys for the event).
2. Donate new unwrapped gifts.
3. Participate in the Santa Flight.
On Saturday, December 10th, members of the NEBG will gather at Martinsbug (KMRB), load up all the donated gifts and fly them down to the Richmond Executive Airport. If you would like to be part of the flight, simply meet at KMRB at 9am for coffee and donuts; we will launch about 10am for the flight.
Besides the personally rewarding camaraderie with other members, exclusive NEBG events, and a myriad of other benefits, inside the members only area of our website you will find:
- NEBG Membership Directory
- Personal Membership File and Settings
- Current and Archived Newsletters
- Formation Flying program information
- And much much more!
Sporting a distinctive V-shaped or "butterfly" tail, the Beechcraft Bonanza set the standard for the stylish and well-equipped aircraft for the private pilot. Since its introduction in 1947, the Bonanza has been admired as a "classic" in the aviation world, even earning Fortune magazine's prestigious award as one of the 100 best designed mass-production products.
The Beech Aircraft Corporation, confident in its manufacturing capacity after building more than 7,000 combat aircraft during World War II, positioned itself for the postwar era by designing a revolutionary single-engine aircraft with a V-tail configuration that trimmed weight without compromising control. Company founder Walter Beech envisioned a light aircraft with a level of performance and comfort that would distinguish it from the competition.
From those humble beginnings, the now Hawker Beechcraft Corporation continues to be a world-leading manufacturer of business and general aviation aircraft.
