Here you will learn about the organization, its mission, along with viewing some photos and videos of a few of the exciting events that have occurred. The NEBG organizes several events for its members, usually 2 per month, which are conveniently divided between the northern and southern regions of the northeast United States. These events include fly-in brunches, overnight flying destinations, and exciting cross country adventures that commonly include Canada, Alaska, and several islands of the Caribbean.
As an active regional organization of the American Bonanza Society, we provide a unified avenue for those who own, operate, or just have an interest in the Beechcraft Bonanza, Baron, and TravelAir aircraft. Though centered around the Beechcraft Bonanza, Baron, and TravelAir, the NEBG is open to everyone regardless of aircraft ownership or flying experience. The only criteria to join us is the desire to share the passion of flight.

Beechcraft Bonanza
Pilot Meets Perfection
Sporting a distinctive V-shaped or "butterfly" tail, the Beechcraft Bonanza set the standard for the stylish yet well-equipped aircraft for the private pilot. Since its introduction in 1947, the Bonanza has been admired as a "classic" in the aviation world, even earning Fortune magazine's prestigious award in 1959 as one of the 100 best designed mass-production products.
The Beech Aircraft Corporation, confident in its manufacturing capacity after building more than 7,000 combat aircraft during World War II, positioned itself for the postwar era by designing a revolutionary single-engine aircraft with a V-tail configuration that trimmed weight without compromising control. Company founder Walter Beech envisioned a light aircraft with a level of performance and comfort that would distinguish it from the competition.
From those humble beginnings, the now Hawker Beechcraft Corporation continues to be a world-leading manufacturer of business and general aviation aircraft.

NEBG Formation Flying Clinic
Once again this year The Baron Boys and Friends will be hosting a formation flying clinic. The clinic will be conducted the weekend of 2-3 June 2012 at Martinsburg, West Virginia (KMRB).
Lodging arrangements have been made with the Hampton Inn in Martinsburg ( On Saturday, June 2, 2012, the Morrisons and Schneiders will be hosting a fly-in lunch on Block Island (7 miles long, 3 miles wide and 14 miles off the coast).
